Penrith Golf Club

Situated in a splendid location overlooking the world renowned Lake District Fells, and the delightful Eden Valley, Penrith Golf Club is regarded as one of the premier golf courses in both Cumbria and the North West.

Formed in 1890, the club boasts a high quality 18 hole parkland course measuring 6,159 yards, par 69, with the Lakeland Fells providing a magnificent backdrop to many of the holes. However, traces of the courses former heathland appearance can still be seen today.

The course contains 2 par 5’s and 5 par 3’s which vary from the very tricky little par 3 10th hole to the 9th hole possibly being one of the hardest par 3’s you will ever play at over 200 yards to a sloping green.

Located just minutes from Junctions 40 or 41 M6, the club has an excellent professionals shop, changing facilities, buggy hire, and a clubhouse to be proud of.
