Visit famous towns and local villages

Whilst Cumbria and the Lake District is known worldwide over for its towns such as Keswick and Windermere its villages such as Hawkshead and Appleby are gems that should be enjoyed. Arnside, Cartmel and Ulverston in South Lakes offer much to see and explore whilst Penrith and the Eden valley in the west are often praised by visitors and locals alike.
